This year workshop From Cells to Ecosystems at McGill University’s Bellairs Research Station in Holetown (Barbados) explored the fundamental organization and dynamics of biological systems across multiple scales.
The invitees this year cover domains such as the gut microbiome and cancer tissues. We discussed high-throughput systems level approaches for studying these complex ecosystems including metabolic network modeling, high-resolution imaging and spatial/single-cell profiling.
